Whitsundays

The Whitsundays are constantly voted as one of the best sailing and yacht charter destination in the world. Amazing turquoise water lap pure white sandy beachs, with wildlife found no where else in the world.
There are stories of 18th Century sailors purposely wrecking their ships so they didn’t have to leave this place and it’s easy to see why. There’s something for everybody on a yacht charter in the Whitsundays, from quiet bays and anchorages to bustling towns and cities. Alongside endless tropical fish expect to see dolphins crossing your bow, whales surfacing next to you, turtles checking you out and shoals of manta rays floating past.
For a sailor the conditions are fantastic with the world famous Great Barrier Reef providing great protection and a good wind blowing straight around this archipelago. For swimmers the waters around the Whitsundays are crammed with a spectacular array of fish. But the amazing wild life isn’t just underwater, head to the bay of Butterflies to discover an incredible variety of beautiful butterflies around the shores of Hook Island. It’s little wonder this place has been described as the most spectacular yacht charter grounds in the world.
