British Virgin Islands

Escape the bleak British winter and charter a yacht in the magnificent British Virgin Islands, known as the BVIs. It’s not only yacht charters that are available in the BVI, you can also do a flotilla sailing holiday, yacht race charter and even a sailing course.
Over 50 palm tree clad islands make up the British Virgin Islands. During the day you can explore the sub-merged world of coral reefs and sunken wrecks teaming with tropical fish then weigh anchor and set sail for a sheltered harbour or cove to enjoy the famous Caribbean night life, all making a yacht charter in the BVI a trip to remember.
The BVIs are one of the more popular destinations around the Caribbean, and it’s easy to see why. You are never far away from an idyllic anchorage, friendly bar or a piece of pirate history. The steady trade winds and protected waters provide perfect sailing for everybody, from beginners to experts.
BVI Yacht Charter Seasons and Weather
The main sailing season is between November and July where the temperature nearly never dips below 25°C (normally over 30°C) and the reliable trade winds bring a force 3 to 6 from the North East.
Tides in the BVI
There is a fairly weak tide present in the BVIs, but this does increases between islands.
